About Dr Ojeda
Dr. Fabiola Ojeda is an experienced consultant rheumatologist at Western Rheumatology who completed her specialist training in rheumatology at Hospital del Mar in Barcelona.
Her areas of special interest include osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain syndromes, soft tissue and musculoskeletal conditions, and the early diagnosis and management of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
After completing her specialist training, Dr. Ojeda spent seven years working as a consultant rheumatologist and clinical researcher at Hospital del Mar and its research institute, IMIM, in Barcelona. During this time, she also did research towards a PhD in knee osteoarthritis.
She is an active member of the communications committee of the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) and regularly contributes to national and international meetings, as well as patient education initiatives.
Her research and publications focus primarily on osteoarthritis and chronic pain.
