Western Rheumatology has access to infusion services at Blackrock Health Galway Clinic where most of our infusions are performed.
The infusion service is designed to provide patients with access to advanced treatments in a comfortable and professional environment.
Infusions, which are carried out as a day case, include a range of biologic and non-biologic infusions tailored to treat rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, lupus and osteoporosis.
Commonly administered infusions
Commonly administered infusions include medications such as infliximab, tocilizumab, rituximab, abatacept, and zoledronic acid.
The experienced nursing teams are dedicated to ensuring each patient receives personalized care and support throughout their treatment journey.
